Benefits Studio vs Healthee
Both answer benefits questions with AI. The difference is what sits behind each answer, and how you pay for it.

What does Healthee cost?
Healthee doesn't publish prices. Its FAQ says pricing depends on the employer's size, the modules it buys and how it buys, directly or through a broker, TPA or PEO1, and its page for self-insured employers says it is priced per employee per month2. Benefits Studio lists its prices: $49, $99 or $199 a month billed yearly, the same at any headcount within each plan's limit (up to 2,500 employees).
What does each assistant answer from?
Healthee says Zoe draws on several sources at once: the employee's plan documents, their enrolled coverage, their deductible and out-of-pocket status, their provider network and real-time cost data1. That makes answers personal, and it is why Healthee connects to your HRIS, benefits administration platform and carrier data during setup1.
Benny answers only from the plan documents you upload and confirm, and every answer shows the page it came from. Healthee's own buyer's guide tells employers to choose assistants that cite their answers3. Benny can't see an employee's deductible balance; for that it points them to the carrier.

How are they different?
Healthee is an app with a support team
Employees use Healthee's app or website, or reach it inside the HR tools they already use1. Zoe answers first. When Zoe can't resolve something, such as a complex appeal or a coverage dispute, a bilingual Benefits Specialist takes over by chat, phone or email1.
Benefits Studio is a benefits website
It turns your plan documents into a site employees open on their phone, with no login: plan details, carrier links, contacts, enrollment dates and the documents themselves. Benny answers from those documents. Nothing publishes until someone on your team confirms it.
Thinking of switching from Healthee?
What you give up
The Benefits Specialists, and answers that use each employee's deductible and enrollment data1. If employees rely on those, keep a navigation app.
What carries over
The information. Upload your plan documents, add carrier and HR contacts, and switch at renewal so employees hear one clear message at open enrollment.
Can you use both?
Yes. Benefits Studio can be the place employees start: plan details, documents, contacts and enrollment dates, with no login. Add Healthee as its own benefit on your site, with its app link, so employees know where to go when they need a person or a provider search.
Questions buyers ask
Is Benefits Studio a replacement for Healthee?
Not for everything. Benefits Studio has no support team and doesn't connect to claims or enrollment data. It replaces the PDF benefits guide and the questions HR answers by email.
How much does Healthee cost?
Healthee doesn't publish prices. It says it is priced per employee per month and quotes each employer based on size, the modules chosen and how it's bought.
How long does Healthee take to set up?
Healthee says about 6 to 8 weeks from contract to launch, including connecting HR and carrier data. A Benefits Studio portal drafts itself from your plan documents in about 5 minutes, and you review it before it publishes.
Do employees need to log in?
Not to Benefits Studio: a site is public, or protected by one shared password. Healthee runs in its own app or website and supports single sign-on.
Does Benny show where its answers come from?
Yes. Every answer cites the page of the plan document it used, and Benny only answers from documents you have uploaded and confirmed.
